DESCRIPTION:The Runway Run is back for 2026, come run for pie!\nWith the support of the Fort McMurray Airport, we’re running a 5k on the runway on Oct 10!\nAs with prior years, with this run being on the real, controlled runway, there are age and time limits in effect. At this time we are accepting runners over 14 only, pending a review and possible update to a lower age limit. No animals, bikes, scooters, etc are permitted past the gate onto the airside. No headphones or earbuds permitted, not even bone conduction ones. Loose items like gel packages or belts with bottles are a hazard to aircraft and must not be brought through the gate to airside….
