The Fort McMurray Chess Club is thrilled to announce that we will be holding our very first summer chess camp on July 24 – 28, 2023!

Please join us for this exciting new program. Head coaches WIM Agnieszka Matras-Clement and Paul Clement will be with us for 5 full days of exhilarating chess programming, along with a plethora of other fantastic activities!
Guided hike by a local outdoor expert with a BSc in Forestry who knows everything there is to know about the beautiful Boreal forest surrounding us.
Wilderness safety training taught by a local expert and youth coach that no child in Fort McMurray should be without.
An afternoon of water fun in our very own little homemade ‘splash park,’ complete with a delicious barbecue. 
Outdoor games and sports, arts and crafts, friendly competitions, exciting chess tournaments, and a delicious pizza lunch!
