Alberta Motor Association–Battery Test Event
Don’t get left out in the cold this winter. Boost your peace of mind by booking a spot at AMA’s free member-exclusive Battery Test Event.
If the last year has taught us anything, it’s the importance of being prepared for anything. Every winter, the number of roadside rescues related to dead batteries nearly doubles across Alberta. In fact, we’ve had as many as 2,500 calls for boosts in a single day!
The good news is that this cold-weather woe is almost entirely preventable with a quick battery test. Our team of automotive experts is here to help.
On Oct. 7 & 8, we’re hosting free, member-exclusive Battery Test events at AMA Fort McMurray.
Here’s how it works:
1. Book your preferred date and time. Availability is limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
2. Arrive at your scheduled appointment time, with your membership card and event confirmation handy.
3. Pop your hood and relax in your vehicle while our automotive experts test your battery.
4. If your battery needs replacing, we’ll install it on the spot at a member-exclusive price.*
While Battery Test events are free for members, we welcome online donations to our Fill Our Fleet campaign in support of community food banks. It’s a safe and easy way to help Alberta families in need during these challenging times.
*On-site battery replacement is subject to availability and limited to conventional lead acid batteries. Some vehicle batteries can’t be installed on-site. Visit ama.ab.ca/hardtoinstall for details.
