There are rules and guidelines when it comes to creating effective presentations with PowerPoint. Knowing which tools work best in which situation could be the difference between a stimulating or sleep inducing presentation.
We work for hours on our presentations. We meticulously source images and graphics, we read and re-read our slides so that they make sense and we can memorize them, we check our slide order, check our animation, etc. etc. etc. But we forget the most important part of any
presentation – the presenter!
Presenting, to any size audience, doesn’t come easily or naturally to most people. There’s actually a medical term for the fear of it – Glossophobia. Yet with a few relatively easy to master skills, presentations to a business audience can be effective and easy for the presenter to create, guide and control.
