Directing for Theatre: A Master Class in Two Parts

In this two-part master class, participants will work collaboratively to stage their own short play.

In this interactive two-part master class, participants will gain hands-on experience in Directing for Theatre as they work collaboratively to stage their own short play. From text analysis to blocking techniques, participants will receive one-on-one mentorship from award-winning director Michelle Thorne.

When:

• Thursday, May 25 at 6 PM – 9 PM
• Saturday, May 27 at 10 AM – 6 PM

Where:

• Studio 129 at Keyano Theatre & Arts Centre

Who:

• This master class is for participants aged 18 and older.
• Participants need little to no directing knowledge, but a base foundation of general theatre knowledge is recommended, and/or a love for the performing arts.
