Intro to New Media Art and Interactive Technologies provides an amazing opportunity for local artists to learn new technologies and expand their skillset.
Over three collaborative sessions, participants will be introduced to a variety of concepts and skills used in media art, including interactive art, creative coding and generative visual and physical computing including sensors. We will start by looking at some project references and examples and discuss their creative and implementation techniques. We’ll continue by deep diving into the igNIGHT 2023 curatorial theme, Transportation, and collaboratively ideate on creative ideas to further develop the core artwork concept provided by the lead artist.
