Since 2007, Holly Fortier ( has trained several thousand people from government, industry, agencies, schools, and businesses – from students to scientists, machine operators to healthcare workers, government and more. Her training tells the story of “where we come from and where we are going.”
Join Holly (award-winning film-maker, story teller, facilitator, mother and Kokum) for a day of immersive learning designed forall learning styles. This day is divided into four sections:
• Before the Newcomers: What did “Canada” and the First Peoples look like? • Historical Implications such as Colonization, Indian Reserves, Treaties, Residential Schools • Culture, Ceremony, Spirituality and Traditions • Workingwith Indigenous Peoples and Communities today
