It’s Time to Talk: Indigenous Speaker Series
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is proud to present the next guest speaker in the It’s Time to Talk: Indigenous Speaker Series, on Feb. 24 at 6 p.m.
Indigenous business leader Carole Anne Hilton, the CEO and founder of the Indigenomics Institute and the Global Center of Indigenomics, is the next featured speaker in the series. She is the author of Indigenomics – Taking A Seat at the Economic Table.
This free, interactive series seeks to highlight voices of Indigenous artists, writers, activists, and leaders to provide powerful examples of strength and the positive impacts that one individual can have. The Speaker Series is an opportunity to learn, understand and engage on important issues like homelessness, addiction, intergenerational trauma, and reconciliation.
