Together with the HUB Family Resource Centre and the United Way of Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo, SafelyFed Canada is presenting a free screening of the documentary film, Milk: born into this world, followed by a workshop on preparing for emergencies and countering commercial influence in infant feeding for parents and other members of the public.

We are so pleased to be returning to Fort McMurray, where much of our work began. Our team will share some practical tips and ideas for families, to help them better prepare for emergencies and deal with the day-to-day decisions about how to feed their babies safely.

Topics will include:

– How to prepare for an emergency during pregnancy or with young children

– Helping very young children cope in and after a major emergency

– Protecting your decisions on how to feed your baby from commercial influence

Child-minding will be available and light refreshments will be served.
