Rally in Support of Rotary House Seniors Lodge Staff

Members of CUPE Local 1505 – Rotary House Unit have not seen a wage increase in 7 years.

During the most recent round of bargaining, the employer (Wood Buffalo Housing and Development) made a devastating offer to our members: a 0% increase for the next 3 years.

Our request is not outrageous.  It’s 4% over 2 years (for a total cost of $60,000 to the employer throughout the duration of the contract). Our members are some of the hardest working people in the region: they’re the kitchen aides, housekeepers, recreational therapists, and groundskeepers that serve residents living at Rotary House Seniors Lodge.

Please show your support by coming to the rally!  Let the Board of Directors know that their offer is disrespectful, and our dedicated, hardworking members deserve more!
