The more than 1200 Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls across Canada will not be forgotten. Sisters in Spirit day pays honour to their memories and gives support and acknowledgement to the pain and impact on the families and communities of the Missing and Murdered.
This Wednesday October 4th show your support by joining the Ceremony, Feast and Candlelight Vigil at the Raphael Cree Boat Launch. For those that cannot attend, put tobacco down on the earth, put a candle on your step, hang a red dress in your yard, and say prayers for stolen sisters to find their way home.
