Join Chef Tim of Wild Rose Catering and Co. and Kaitlyn Burden of Outpost Wine for a delicious taste through Italy.
Tim comes to the table with a special love for Italian cuisine after an adventure in Italy before he decided on culinary school. On this trip a friend’s Nonna invited them over for an impromptu cooking lesson; Tim quickly fell in love with the simplicity, yet refined elegance, of it all. In his own words “Italian cuisine has cemented its place in my heart ever since,” and put him on the path to becoming one of Fort McMurray’s top culinary talents.
Kait’s passion for Italian wine also started with the food. Her mother’s own Italian-American spaghetti was the highlight of any day and always so much more lively. This seems to follow through giving spaghetti to her own child. There is something about Italian food that invites company and good conversation to your table and the wines are so much more than Sangiovese!
