Community Gathering & Walk on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Everyone is invited to participate in the Community Gathering and Walk to recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
The gathering will begin at 10:00 a.m. at kiyām Community Park with a prayer and raising of the Survivors’ flag.
The walk will begin at kiyām Park, and participants will move down Morrison Street towards the Snye, turn onto Clearwater Drive and then circle back to the park via Hardin Street and Franklin Avenue.
After the walk, light refreshments will be provided at the park with an opportunity for community members to reflect on the importance of the day.
