This program is intended for children ages 8-12. We will be using very hot water to create our natural dyes. Please familiarize your children with kitchen safety prior to the program date.
Join us at Heritage Village on April 12th for Easter Adventure: Fun, Games, and Colourful Traditions! This exciting program is designed for kids to explore the joy of Easter through engaging activities. Participants will dive into the fun of egg-dying, where they can unleash their creativity and decorate their own colourful Easter Eggs. We will be using natural materials to create our dyes, as a homage to centuries’ old traditions.
In addition to crafting, kids can enjoy a variety of Easter-themed games that promote teamwork and friendly competition. They will also learn about the history of Fort McMurray, and how the region was affected by the shifting seasons and arrival of Spring.
Come celebrate the season with us, make new friends, and create lasting memories in a festive and educational environment.
This is a drop-off program; children will be attended to by Heritage Village staff. Please ensure you pack your child with water and an afternoon snack. Natural dyes may be messy. Please dress children accordingly, and ensure that they have suitable clothing for outdoor play.
