Cost: Free
Location
- 8310 Manning Ave, Fort McMurray, AB T9H 1W1, Canada
Families, Elders and youth are invited as we celebrate our shared heritage and delve into the world of crafts and culture. Each week we’ll gather to explore the traditions of the past and create new ones together.
Join us for a hands-on cultural beading workshop where we’ll create beautiful porcupine fringe earrings rooted in tradition and artistry. Participants will learn foundational beading techniques, explore the creativity using materials like porcupine quills, and create a unique pair of earrings to take home. Whether you’re new to beading or looking to deepen your skills, this workshop offers a welcoming space to connect, share stories, and celebrate creativity. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed. Come bead with us and be part of keeping tradition alive – one stitch at a time.
No registration required.
Thank you to our partnering sponsor ANFCA as well as Golden Years Society for continued support in providing the venue.
