We are beyond excited to host Volume 3 of the Black Gold Boulder Series! Indoor bouldering competition at Fort McMurray’s premier rock climbing gym. Black Gold Volume 3 will be our biggest and best competition yet.

– The youth competition will run from 10am-12pm, with podiums and prizes at 12:30.
– The adult competition will run from 1pm-4pm, with podiums and prizes taking place at 4:30.
What category should you register for? Glad you asked!
Youth are delineated by age, with Youth 1 being ages 5-8 and Youth 2 being ages 9-12. Youth are welcome to register in the adult competition as well.
The adult competition has 3 categories.
– Beginner: If you climb reds and project oranges and sometimes yellows, this is the category for you!
– Intermediate: If you climb oranges and yellows and project greens and sometimes blues, choose intermediate!
– Advanced: If you climb greens and blues and project blacks, choose advanced!
The youth competition will include extra holds to account for children’s reach. Youth who register in an adult category will not be able to use these holds.
