Community Business Connect in Fort McKay

Community Business Connect is an in-person event designed to support aspiring and current entrepreneurs through hands-on learning and meaningful conversation. This session will introduce participants to the fundamentals of business planning while highlighting Community Futures Wood Buffalo’s 4 Pillars of Innovation initiative—designed to spark entrepreneurship, foster local talent, and create long-term impact in the region.

The session will also include a land acknowledgment and an open space for discussion on building inclusive, community-driven approaches to business growth. Whether you’re just starting or looking to strengthen your foundation, this is an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow with others in your community.

SESSION SUMMARYThe session will take place from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM in the community of Fort McKay.
