Film Screening: Ninan Auassat – We, the Children

Join us for a screening of Ninan Auassat: We, the Children, directed by Abenaki filmmaker Kim O’Bomsawin. This powerful documentary, told entirely from the perspective of Indigenous children, shares stories of growing up within the Atikamekw, Eeyou Cree, and Innu Nations. Following the film, Kim O’Bomsawin will join virtually for a discussion about storytelling and the themes explored in her work. Open to youth ages 8+ and their families. The screening takes place at Fort City Church from 5:00–8:00 pm.
