Come balance the cookies, chocolates, and “just one more” with a New Year’s Day 5K! We’ll start cold, complain a little, and then magically forget we were ever chilly about 5 minutes in.
Dress like an onion- many layers and maybe a few tears
Run for the treats Pace = whatever keeps you moving and smilingRun it, jog it, shuffle it—just show up and earn bragging rights for starting the year doing something slightly uncomfortable but totally worth it.
If your resolution is for better health or maybe more mileage, this is the place to start!
Who’s brave enough? 
We’ll run from Doug Barnes Cabin, 2.5k out, 2.5k back for a 5k total! If 5k is to far, the out and back format is great for allowing you to turn around when you need to! Kids and pets welcome under ParkRun style rules (aka: pets must be leashed, kids may be leashed at your discretion)
