Stolen Sisters Memorial Day

They were always people in families and communities. People stolen from us.

This February 14, communities all across Canada will remember these stolen sisters in their own way. We are asking the Wood Buffalo region to remember their loved ones. To say their names out loud and online. To remember the people they were and the loved ones they are to us. So many have experienced this great loss. Others can show their support by handing a red dress (or image of a red dress) on your door.

Together we raise our voices to call for long-term sustained action to end the ongoing genocide facing Indigenous women, girls, men, boys, Two-Spirit, gender-diverse people.
