Fertility Awareness Educator and Holistic Reproductive Health Practitioner, Chloe Skerlak, takes the taboo out of period and demystifies the menstrual cycle to help pre-teens experience their period with greater confidence. Participants will: – Learn correct anatomical terms and functions of internal and external anatomy – Learn the 4 phases of the menstrual cycle
– Discover the physical and emotional changes throughout the cycle
– Receive an introduction to cycle charting
– Explore the different types of menstrual products available
This workshop is designed for pre-teens ages 8-13 to learn in the company of peers as well as with adult parent(s)/caregiver(s) – adult’s are not required to be in attendance – to empower themselves with the knowledge of the menstrual cycle and reinforce the power of family and friend support systems.
Participants will complete a creative activity with HeartSpark Creative.
A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
