Alberta Public Libraries Day of Action – The Librarians Screening

Libraries support education, literacy, economic development, innovation, and lifelong learning. They are one of the few public spaces open and accessible to everyone.

This October 1, join us in celebrating the value of Alberta’s public libraries during the Alberta Public Libraries Day of Action. We’ll be showing the Emmy Award-winning documentary, The Librarians. The Librarians follows librarians on the front lines of the nationwide fight against book bans and censorship in the United States.

Audience: All Ages (the film is rated PG but does include mature subject matter and strong language)
