Hon. Dr. Jean Augustine is the 1st Black Canadian Woman to serve as a Federal Minister of the Crown and Member of Parliament and officially lead the fight to recognize February as Black History Month in Canada. The documentary highlights the impact the passing of the resolution has on the Diaspora and the diverse communities and how we can all relate to the Black History Month celebration as well.
A reception will be after the documentary; admission is $70 per person.
