Discover Dance with Alberta Ballet!   

Alberta Ballet is coming to Fort McMurray April 25 through May 30 offering a series of complementary beginner ballet classes for youth Ages 6-18.

This 6-week program will introduce youth to the basics of ballet, nurture self-expression and connect them with new friends. Ballet develops poise, teamwork, listening skills while increasing confidence and a sense of belonging in a safe, fun and welcoming space.

No uniform required and no previous dance experience needed. Basic English required.

Schedule
Classes run every Thursday for 6 weeks: April 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.

Ages 6-8
4:30 – 5:30 pm

Ages 9-11
5:45 – 6:45 pm

Ages 12+
7:00 – 8:00 pm

Last Class Presentation: Parents/guardians are invited to attend the last class on May 30 to see what the students have learned!

What to Wear & Bring

·         Students should wear comfortable clothing that is easy for them to move in. No formal uniform is required.

·         Students will dance in socks. If a student owns ballet slippers, they can also wear them for class, but it is not required.

·         For safety reasons, no dangling jewelry is permitted during class.

·         Water bottle
