Arts in Action 60+ – Needle Felting

Learn the basics of needle felting while creating a palm-sized chicken sitting in a wool nest. Learning this technique allows you to customize your bird with different colours and details, or create something entirely your own. Guidance will be provided throughout the process by local artist Meagan Magson.

Meagan Magson is a Canadian fibre artist based in Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, specializing in 3D fibre art and needle felting. She holds a Diploma in Visual Art and Design from Keyano College and works across a range of techniques, often incorporating materials such as wood, mosaic, and pastels into her sculptures.
