A FULL DAY OF ART!
Arts in Action day is January 24th at Keyano College from 10am-4:30pm. Lunch is provided via Wild Rose catering
Choose 2 workshops to do: one in the morning from 10am-12:15pm and one in the afternoon from 1:30pm-4:30pm
1. Poetry Workshop description:
In this poetry workshop led by Jamal, the arts awards winning author, participants will create their own poems through prompts taking inspiration from personal life experiences. Various activities cater to various learning styles and help awaken the poet inside you. Jamal’s poetry book and her designed notebook will be provided.
2. Needle Felting workshop description:
Needle Felting is
A form of Fibre art
Create 2D and 3D pieces using sheep’s wool and other fibers using a special needle.

a simple technique that can be taken and used for any project you can think up!
3. Macrame workshop description:
Learn to make a keychain made by the art form of macrame from instructor Amanda Dawson of Northenknots Macrame. Participants will learn various knotting techniques to create their keychain!
