Baby Rave

A “baby rave” is a daytime dance party event designed for families, where parents can bring their babies or toddlers to a fun, energetic atmosphere with music, lights kid’s activities, bouncy castles and so much more including a dinosaur. These events feature DJs playing popular kids’ songs, remixes, and sometimes even EDM, with an emphasis on fun and movement for both kids and parents. The goal is to provide a fun and engaging experience for both parents and children, with the hope that the kids will get tired and sleep well afterwards.

A “baby rave” is a daytime dance party event designed for families, where parents can bring their babies or toddlers to a fun, energetic atmosphere with music, lights, kid’s activities, bouncy castles and so much more including a dinosaur. These events feature DJs playing popular kids’ songs, remixes, and sometimes even EDM, with an emphasis on fun and movement for both kids and parents. The goal is to provide a fun and engaging experience for both parents and children, with the hope that the kids will get tired and sleep well afterwards.

Normally an event like this would cost a min of $20 per person to get in, and then there is a family price.  The issue being that it is based on a family of 4.  Some families are bigger and some smaller.  So instead of people trying to figure out a price based on how many kids are for a discount, we applied the discount to everyone so we can keep the costs down for every family so everyone can enjoy the Baby Rave at a fair price.

First let’s talk infants.  This event is geared for children 6 months of age to 7 years old.  So yes, infants will have to pay.  There will be lots of lights and things to stimulate them so they should have a party good time!  Parents and guardians will need to pay for entry as well.  Not only will there be activities for the children, but there is also a full family themed market for parents…and let’s be serious, you will be dancing and having an amazing time with your kids at a Baby Rave that has never happened in Fort McMurray before.  Bring your rave gear and get ready to party with your kids.

Not going to lie it will be loud.  Will it be louder than kids screaming in the school yard, maybe.  We will be playing off multiple speakers, so we do not have to turn it up as loud as a single stack at the front of the room.  A sporting event runs from 90 to 100 decibels, and we will be close to that.  There will be a sound monitor on site that can be asked for at any time.  There will be breaks in the sound for contests, special dinosaur presentations, and crowd participation.  Most of the sound will be at the front of the room, and you will be able to do the activities at the back of Centerfire Place with minimal volumes and there will be a trade show outside of the Baby Rave area as well.

The snack police will not be attending the Baby Rave, so bring all the snacks you need to keep the party pumping!  Bring your own water, as well.  We will have reasonable priced snacks, juice and water for kids on site in case you party too hard and go through all your supply!  We only ask you to bring enough for your party group and not to share with everyone else. Also please make sure to put all garbage and recycling in the proper bins.

This event is geared to children 6 months to 7 years old.  There will be remixes of 5 Little Monkeys, The Wheels on the Bus and Humpty Dumpty along with some party jammers for the parents to get down to as well!  The kid’s activities will be geared for this age group as well.  If you want to bring your 13-year-old we do not promise they will be getting down to Baby Shark or having the Wiggles painted on their face, but we are not stopping any family members from coming in. If you think they will be up for a family friendly party, let’s go and have them bring their Rave gear too!

Centerfire Place prides itself on having changing stations in both the men’s and women’s bathrooms.  We are inviting an entire crowd of diaper wearers into Centerfire Place to party hard…and that means lots of diaper changes.  We will have a special area set up with tables and garbage cans with lids on them where you can change your little raver and leave the dirty diapers behind so they can get back on the dance floor to rave some more! Please bring your own diapers and wipes.

This is a Blow Up Your Birthday event, so you know there will be the best inflatable games and bouncy castles in town.  Not only will Blow Up Your Birthday ensure you have at least 5 activities or bouncy castles to do inside the Baby Rave, it will be safe as their staff will be on hand at each station to ensure maximum fun and safety for your family!  Not only will there be lots of things for your family to do, BUT the DINOSAURS will ALSO be there for your family to experience.  If you haven’t seen the dinosaurs yet, they are worth the price of admission, and you can get your picture taken with them as well.  They will be doing a 10-minute show every hour starting at 2.

Not only will there be music, lights, dancing, kid’s activities and a snack bar, there will be a family market as well.  We are confirming the vendors right now, but closer to the Baby Rave we will release a full list for you.  We are expecting a huge turnout for this as Blow Up Your Birthdays runs the local markets in town.

The idea is to make the Baby Rave a family event that has a little something for everyone including bubbles!

How can we have an event like this without face painting?  There will be face painters outside the venue so we can limit the lines inside.  If it rains, we will move them inside.  But let’s be real, we have to have face painters, your kids want them and maybe you can get one too!

This party is going to be wild and off the rails!  Of course, the dinosaurs will be there, they wouldn’t miss it for the world!  Every hour starting at 2 the dinosaurs will be out for everyone to see.  Not just the life-sized raptor, but the baby dinos as well.  During the dinosaur show the Baby Rave will lower the music and keep the dancing going with the jammers that parents know from when they used to party!
