A two day hackathon with programming and other skills workshops!

This two-day event will bring together teams of youth who will work together to solve a problem in the community using code. Teams will have a full day to work together to build their code while participating in workshops and speaker sessions. On the second day, each team will have the opportunity to present their idea to the public as well as a panel of judges, in an attempt to win prize money to help implement their idea in the community. Our aim is to help foster a collaborative community empowered through tech and innovation.

Community Code Day is limited to children and teens, and their parents. Parents are able to help their children with the projects, but the main goal is for the participants’ to be able to create their own project. While children of all ages are able to participate, the event is recommended for those ages 12 and up.
