Dene Language Revitalization Class with Knowledge Keeper Mara Nokohoo

Community members are invited to join Knowledge Keeper Mara Nokohoo for a meaningful series of Dene Language Revitalization classes at the Nistawoyou Association Friendship Centre. Each session offers an opportunity to learn and practice Dene language through storytelling, conversation, creativity, and shared experiences.

Participants will also create their own Dene language journal—a personal space to record new words, reflect on teachings, and express learning in a creative way. All materials, snacks, and beverages are provided.

No registration is required, and all are welcome.
