This longstanding Canadian duo – El Niven and drummer Jeff Burwash – inhabit a working-class world of tough days, long nights and sweet times. With a natural bent for the lyrical, their songs are a resolute study of addiction, sanctions, forgiveness and hard love delivered with high intensity and raging honesty.
