The Fam Expo is a mini Comicon, a first-of-
its-kind event that took place in June of
2023 with massive success. An estimated
400 adults and kids attended the event at
Shell Place. The KidSport WB team has been
dedicated to establish an event new to the
community of Fort McMurray by adapting
your ‘typical’ Comicon to meet our mission
and vision with a family-friendly event for
all to enjoy!
In 2024 The Fam Expo will take place on
July 28th at Shell Place, offering a kidzone,
vendor showcase, eSport gaming station,
guest panelists, cosplay show red carpet,
food trucks, etc.
