Film Screening: Night Raiders Youth 12-17

Join the Nistawoyou Association Friendship Centre for a special film screening in partnership with REEL Canada. Youth will experience Indigenous storytelling on the big screen and engage in a post-film discussion with industry professionals about the film’s themes and messages. We will be screening Night Raiders (directed by Danis Goulet), a dystopian thriller and allegory for the residential school system. The story follows Niska, a Cree mother fighting to save her daughter from a state-run re-education camp, and her journey with resistance fighters seeking freedom for their children. The screening will take place from 5:00–8:00 pm at the Nistawoyou Association Friendship Centre, with the film starting promptly at 5:30 pm.
