Families, Elders and youth are invited as we celebrate our shared heritage and delve into the world of crafts and culture. Each week we’ll gather to explore the traditions of the past and create new ones together.
Join us for a calming and creative evening for families, Elders, seniors, and youth to come together and make their own scented candles inspired by tradition and aroma of sweetgrass. Each participant will have the opportunity to create a unique candle in a glass jar, blending creativity with culture in a warm, welcoming space. Sweetgrass holds deep significance in many Indigenous communities, and this activity offers a meaningful way to connect, reflect, and share stories while crafting something special to take home.
