Location
- 3 Tolen Dr, Fort McMurray, AB T9H 1G7, Canada
NAFC youth and their families who took part in the Weaving Wîcihitowin Summer Camp this July are invited to join us for a special family gathering in the park!
Get ready for an evening filled with laughter, outdoor games, and meaningful connection. We’ll have activities for all ages and a chance for parents and guardians to share their reflections and feedback on the camp experience.
Light refreshments will be provided, and families are encouraged to bring their own basket meals to enjoy together. Plus, everyone who joins us will be entered into a door prize draw!
Let’s come together to celebrate, reconnect, and reflect on the memories made this summer. We can’t wait to see you there!
Registration is required. Please note that this event is intended for youth who attended the camp, along with their families. To register, contact 780-743-8555 or email reception@nistawoyouafc.com
Wicihitowin is a Cree word referring to the act of helping and supporting one another. ANFCA’s Initiative Weaving Wicihitowin for Learning utilizes Friendship Centres, as education partners to improve education outcomes for urban and rural Indigenous students and help them throughout their learning journeys.
