Please note: June 6th will only have session availability for youth.

A special day on the land with planting activities and a guided medicine walk through the park, led by NAFC Knowledge Keeper Claire. Youth will explore traditional teachings, learn about the plants that grow around us, and deepen their connection to the land through hands-on experiences. Children under 8 are welcome with a guardian present for the full day, or families can contact us to discuss accommodations.

Program Information:
Wicihitowin is a Cree word referring to the act of helping and supporting one another. ANFCA’s Initiative Weaving Wicihitowin for Learning utilizes Friendship Centres, as education partners to improve education outcomes for urban and rural Indigenous students and help them throughout their learning journeys.
