Join us for our 2024 CIBC Run for the Cure at Doug Barnes! Take a 1km walk or 5km run around the beautiful Birchwood Trail with your team, family, and friends. As a family-oriented event, we encourage all adults and children to participate in the Run to enjoy family time while running for a charitable cause. The CIBC Run for the Cure is open to people of all abilities and accessible to those with strollers! 
On Run Day, registration starts at 8:30 am, followed by speeches from our wonderful Participants of Hopes at 9:30 am. Tune in to hear remarkable women sharing their journeys, struggles, and triumphs of how breast cancer affected their own lives and learn more about the impact of breast cancer in Fort McMurray! Finally, the Run will commence at 10:00 am!
The CIBC Run for the Cure will feature multiple food vendors and options, including a delicious barbecue at the end of the Run! For all parents, we will host a separate run for kids at noon, where medals will be given out! The Run will also feature activities for kids, such as inflatable games.
