Kids Fun Run – CIBC Run for the Cure 2026 – Fort McMurray
Lace up those little sneakers! The Kids Fun Run is returning as part of the 2026 CIBC Run for the Cure in Fort McMurray.
Children will run a fun and energetic 300 m route through the Birchwood Trails while showing their support for everyone affected by breast cancer.
The Kids Fun Run begins at 10:00 AM on Sunday, October 4, 2026, just before the opening ceremonies. Please see the attached route map.
The run is designed for children ages 3 to 8, but all kids are welcome. Parents and guardians are encouraged to run or walk alongside younger children to offer support and share in the experience.
🏅 Every child who completes the Kids Fun Run will receive a special appreciation medal at the finish line! 🏅
Entry is by donation, with a suggested contribution of $10 per child. All proceeds go directly to the Canadian Cancer Society in support of breast cancer research.
