Come join us and experience Ethiopian Dancing.  No experience necessary. Fun, quick and easy Ethiopian dancing class.  Known for its dynamic shoulder and chest movements, Eskista is a traditional Ethiopian dance that is believed to have originated from the Amhara highlands. It is a popular cultural expression throughout Ethiopia, often performed at weddings and celebrations.

Join the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo and learn how to dance the eskista! By attending this workshop, participants will also be entered to win a gift basket that will include a unique item related to the cultural background of this workshop’s facilitator!
