Join us as we kick off the 10th Annual Wood Buffalo Pride Festival with a joyful and meaningful Opening Ceremony celebrating diversity, and community. This special milestone event will feature remarks from local dignitaries, a ceremonial Pride flag raising, and an Indigenous blessing to honour the land, its people, and the spirit of inclusion that brings us together.
Following the ceremony, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a family-friendly picnic filled with fun for all ages. There will be games and activities for kids, a community BBQ supporting Art’s Council Wood Buffalo and plenty of space to relax, connect, and celebrate Pride together. Bring your friends, your family, and your Pride spirit as we launch a month of celebration, reflection, and unity.
