Transform your wardrobe at our Reduce, Recycle, Re-wear: Clothing Altering Workshop! Join us at the NEW Arts Council Wood Buffalo office for a creative session on how to give your old garments new life.
Whether you’re a seasoned DIY-er or just starting out, this workshop is the perfect place to learn about altering and up-cycling clothes. Guest speaker Rachelle Solbak will be sharing her expertise and some of her fantastic creations to inspire your next project.
Please bring a garment you’d like to alter, any up-cycling materials you have (buttons, patches, lace, etc.), and a sewing machine if you have one. Don’t worry if you’re new to sewing—no experience is necessary!
Thanks to our partnership with What’s In Store YMM, each participant will receive a 15% off coupon to help find the perfect up-cycling materials.
This workshop is free, open to anyone age 12 and up. Spaces are limited, so secure your spot by emailing treasure@artscouncilwb.ca today!
