Fort McMurray’s family-friendly New Year’s Eve party is back to ring in 2024!
Head down to MacDonald Island Park on December 31 for a day of free family fun! The Craze presented by Syncrude features a variety of free events and activities for families of all ages and will run from noon until 5:00pm on December 31st at MacDonald Island Park. This year’s event features free activities for all ages, including live entertainment on the Mix 103.7 & 100.5 Cruz FM Main Stage from Will’s Jams and Magician Donovan Day!
This day of fun will conclude with the Grand Finale Fireworks at 5:30pm – for the best view of the fireworks, go to the MacDonald Island parking lot facing Miskanaw Golf Club.
Sensory Friendly Experience
Looking for sensory friendly ways to enjoy The Craze presented by Syncrude? This year, visit two sensory friendly activities:
- Sensory Friendly Activities at the Wood Buffalo Regional Library will be hosted in a quiet space
- Sensory Friendly Indoor Skate at Canadian Natural Arena 2 will have reduced arena lighting, reduced noise & no music
