The Dene Way: Teaching Series

This series of Dene Teachings with Knowledge Keeper Mara Nokohoo will bring participants together for a weekly gathering focused on oral teachings, storytelling, beading, and traditional medicine. It offers a welcoming space for cultural learning, sharing, and connection.

This session focuses on the importance of storytelling within Dene culture. Participants will hear traditional stories, learning how stories carry teachings, values, and lifelong lessons. There will be space for discussion and sharing, creating a welcoming environment for connection and cultural exchange.
