Voices Unbound: Poetry Night

Poetry Night returns to Avenue Eatery & Cafe for Alberta Culture Days 2026!

This welcoming evening will celebrate local poetry, music, and creative expression with a diverse lineup of local poets, an open mic for writers, and live musical performances. Guest can also take part in a Poetry Collage activity led by Jamal-e-Fatima Rafat of The Crafted Writer.

Musical guests include Cameron Crich of When April Met July and Jess Rotar of Felt Like Velvet.
