Rubber Duck Race is in support of Big Brothers Big Brothers Wood Buffalo. 

Raffle Tickets for Community Members: $10 is one duck in the race. 

Sponsorship for Corporate Businesses and Unions: $250 is one duck in the race. 

Community Race: 1pm

Union and Corporate Business Races to Follow! 

• First race was held in 2000
• We use local companies for products, and ask volunteers to help us build a 50 foot man-made river
• There is up to 2000 rubber duck TICKETS for sale
• A dump truck empties his truck bed that is full of SOLD rubber ducks, into our man-made river
• We receive help from the Fort McMurray Fire Department to keep water flowing down our man-made river
• The first duck to cross the finish line, WINS!!

• First prize is a round trip for two to anywhere WestJet flies,  provided by West Jet Cares for Kids!

Duck race allows us to raise awareness and funding to support the young people in our community through our free evidence- based mentoring programs

Community Rubber Duck Race (1st Race): All community members 18 years or older are invited to show their support for local youth mentorship programming through the purchase of a $10.00 rubber duck(s)!  2000 Ducks will be available for purchase, get yours online today before they are sold out for your chance at winning one of four prize opportunities including a round-trip for two anywhere WestJet flies provided by WestJet cares for kids, or (3) gift baskets valued at different amounts. 

Corporate Rubber Duck Race (2nd Race): Corporate Businesses are able to show support to local youth with a $250 sponsorship! The business will receive a Rubber Duck in the corporate race as well as recognition at the event.
